Agal's Product of the Month : The Burmese Bell ระฆังพม่า

วันนี้เอแกลขอนำเสนอ ‘ระฆังพม่า’ ความพิเศษของระฆังพม่าคือศิลปะที่เป็นเอกลักษณ์ มีความแตกต่างกันในแต่ละยุคสมัย เริ่มในช่วงคริสต์ศตวรรษที่ 18 ซึ่งเป็นช่วงปลายของยุครัฐฉาน ศิลปะบนระฆังจะนิยมให้หัวระฆังเป็นแบบ ‘นรสิงห์’ ซึ่งจะมีตัวและหัวเป็นคน แต่ขาเป็นสิงห์ โดยรวมลวดลายงานศิลปะจะค่อนข้างเรียบง่ายกว่าระฆังพม่าในช่วงคริสต์ศตวรรษที่ 19 ซึ่งจะมีลวดลายศิลปะที่วิจิตรมากขึ้น

ปัจจุบันทาง AGAL ได้พยายามเก็บและอนุรักษ์ศิลปะวัตถุ ที่มีดีไซน์ละเอียดอ่อนของระฆังพม่าในช่วงคริสต์ศตวรรษที่ 18 เราพยายามรังสรรค์ออกมาให้รายละเอียดเหมือนในอดีต เพิ่มความพิเศษด้วยการใส่ฟังก์ชั่นของยุคปัจจุบันเข้าไป โดยเราทำให้ระฆังสามารถประยุกต์เป็นโคมไฟไร้สาย และยังสามารถสั่งการด้วยรีโมทคอนโทรลได้อีกด้วย

Today AGAL presents you “The Burmese Bell”, distinct with Burmese art that varied in each of its historical period. Starting off in 18th century, the late Shan Era, the bell top was commonly adorn with “Narasimha” figure whose head and torso was of a man with legs of a lion. The ornamental art throughout the bell was simpler than those from the 19th century, which extended to more intricate embellishment.

AGAL values the preservation of these art objects of 18th century Burmese Bell and strived to recreate the design that maintain its delicate period embellishment, while also added a modern day function of a wireless lamp with a remote control.
