จากสถานการณ์ภาวะโรคระบาดทำให้เราต้องปรับเปลี่ยนระยะเวลาอยู่ในบ้านกันมากขึ้นกว่าเดิม เราจะเห็นว่าพื้นที่ใช้สอยเดิมไม่สอดคล้องกับวิถีการใช้ชีวิตประจำวันของเราที่เปลี่ยนไป ห้องที่ไว้สำหรับรับแขกหรือสังสรรค์ตามช่วงฤดูกาลหรือเทศกาลต่างๆ กลับต้องปรับเปลี่ยนประโยชน์ใช้สอย มุมทำงานที่ต้องการความสงบเวลาประชุมคุยงานออนไลน์กลายเป็นสิ่งจำเป็น



ชีวิตที่ได้อยู่บ้านเป็นประจำนั้นต้องการความสะดวกสบาย ฟังก์ชั่นการใช้งานกลับต้องปรับเปลี่ยนให้สอดรับกับความต้องการหลายแบบของผู้อาศัยหลายคนพร้อมๆกัน เมื่อ ep ที่แล้วเมื่อเราได้พิจารณา living pain point แบบองค์รวม มองหาพื้นที่ปรับเปลี่ยนเพื่อเอื้อให้เราใช้ชีวิตได้สะดวกขึ้น มองเรื่องวัสดุ ทิศทางแสงและลมให้เข้ากับลักษณะการใช้งานกันไปแล้วนั้น สำหรับช่วงนี้ ถึงเวลาแล้วที่เราอาจจะต้องลุกขึ้นมาหาไอเดียปรับแต่งบ้านกันใหม่


เชื่อว่าตอนนี้คุณคงมีข้อมูลในการวางแผนตกแต่งห้องมากขึ้น หรืออาจจะจัดแต่งของในห้องให้เข้าที่ไว้แล้ว รวบรวมข้อมูลไว้แล้วไปต่อ สเต็ปต่อไปคือการหา Inspiration และ Do some research แบบวิธีที่เราจะมานำเสนอใน A guide to craft your soulful space Ep02 Get inspired จะมาช่วยให้คุณได้รับแรงบันดาลใจและเพิ่มไอเดียให้คุณไปต่อยอดในการแต่งบ้านใหม่ของคุณได้อีก ในขั้นตอนต่อไป

I. เริ่มต้นหาแหล่งแรงบันดาลใจ

เมื่อดูๆแล้วว่าสเปซพื้นที่ตรงไหนของเราที่ต้องการจัดแต่งใหม่ มีเฟอร์นิเจอร์ชิ้นไหนที่อยากเปลี่ยน จะมี reference ไหนที่จะมาสร้างความแตกต่างในพื้นที่ห้องเราได้บ้าง เราสามารถหาแรงบันดาลใจได้จากหลายแหล่ง ถ้าเราเป็นคนชอบงานออกแบบ ชอบจัดบ้าน ชอบสะสมไอเท็มแต่งบ้านอยู่แล้ว เราเชื่อว่าแรงบันดาลใจจากสิ่งใกล้ตัว จากสถานที่ที่เราไปแล้วรู้สึกถูกชะตากับบรรยากาศ แรงบันดาลใจจากรสนิยมที่ชัดเจน จากสิ่งที่เราเห็นเก็บสะสมไอเดียไว้ นิตยสารที่อ่าน หนังซีรีย์หรือภาพยนต์ที่เราชอบ ล้วนเป็นแรงบันดาลใจในการออกแบบปรับปรุงพื้นที่ของเราได้ หากเราเริ่มสังเกตุและเริ่มสะสมไอเดียเริ่มสร้างความชอบที่เป็นแบบของเรา


สำหรับใครที่ค่อนข้างโปรแล้วหรือว่ามือใหม่กำลังเริ่มมองหาแรงบันดาลใจ เราขอแนะนำให้เริ่มต้นที่ quote นี้ ‘The way one looks at things is of the utmost importance. Seeing is feeling with the eyes.’ การได้เห็นได้สัมผัสและสามารถแปรเปลี่ยนผัสสะทางด้านความรู้สึกอันจับต้องไม่ได้มาเป็นรูปแบบงานที่จับต้องได้ล้วนเป็นจุดเริ่มต้นที่ดีของโปรเจค เริ่มต้นเห็นเริ่มต้นรู้สึก เริ่มสะสมความชอบส่วนตน เริ่มมองหาไอเดียเริ่มต้นลงมือทำ mood board เพื่อที่จะเปรียบเทียบและหาสิ่งที่ใช่ที่สุดเพื่อสะท้อนความเป็นตัวตนของเราตั้งแต่สิ่งแวดล้อมที่เราอยู่ แน่นอนหลายๆคนก็อาจเริ่มหาแรงบันดาลใจตามแพลตฟอร์มโซเชี่ยลมีเดียต่างๆ ไม่ว่าจะเป็น Pinterest / Flipboard / Instagram/ Facebook Page / Twitter / Website คีย์หลักคือ การจัดกรุ๊ป แบ่งหมวดหมู่ หรือสร้างฟิลเตอร์จัดโฟลเดอร์ ให้ไฟล์ดิจิตอลหรือคอนเทนต์เหล่านี้ค้นหาง่าย เข้าถึงสะดวก


Pinterest เป็นตัวช่วยที่ดีให้คุณหารูปสไตล์ที่คุณชอบ แถมยังขึ้นรูปสไตล์นี้ในออปชั่นอื่นๆอีกมากมาย พินรูปไหนที่รู้สึกสปาร์ค อยากให้ห้องเราเป็นแบบไหนก็พินแยกไว้เป็นบอร์ด

สิ่งสำคัญคือ keyword ที่ใช้ในการเสิร์ช ในPinterest เราสามารถเสิร์ชหาแม้กระทั่งสิ่งที่เป็นรายละเอียดยิบย่อยต่างๆ เช่น หากเราต้องการหาไอเดียในการแต่งพื้นไม้ ลองค้นหา wooden flooring texture อยากหาไอเดียแต่งห้องนอนสีเขียว green painted bedroom หรือแม้กระทั่งหาไอเดียตกแต่งสวนที่ระเบียงก็ terrace design balcony การเสิร์ชหาใน Pinterest ก็มีไอเดียให้เราหลากหลายทุกรายละเอียด แล้วก็เซฟไอเดียไว้เป็นบอร์ด


หรือมองหาไอเดียจากช่องทาง Instagram ก็เข้าท่า เข้าไปดูไอจีของแบรนด์ที่ชอบ แถมสามารถดูราคาของแต่ละชิ้นได้ด้วยใน Instagram Shop เซฟ bookmark ไว้เป็นโฟลเดอร์เก็บไว้ก็ได้


Facebook Page ก็มีคอนเทนต์การแต่งบ้านหลากหลายให้เสพ แถมยังมีบทความให้อ่านที่มาของคอนเซปต์และไอเดีย

Tips: การเสิร์ชหาไอเดียจากแหล่งต่างๆ อาจจะทำให้เราได้เห็นไอเดียที่ดีถึงดีที่สุด แต่ข้อมูลที่มากมายต้องไม่ทำให้เราตกหลุมและสับสนจนไม่สามารถร้อยเรียงงานออกแบบให้เป็นเอกภาพ เราต้องนำมาพิจารณาให้ละเอียดรอบคอบอีกทีด้วยว่า ห้องเราสามารถทำได้ตามแบบเลยไหม ส่วนไหนจำเป็นส่วนไหนไม่จำเป็น รวมถึงวัสดุที่ใช้ในภาพReference อาจจะไม่เหมาะกับสภาพอากาศห้องหรือเปล่า มีเหตุผลเรื่องการใช้งานจริงที่เราอาจจะต้องลองเอามาพิจารณาดูให้เห็นภาพรวมทั้งหมด

Due to the ongoing pandemic situation shifting everyone’s schedule into longer hours at home, we might get to notice that the existing space didn’t really answer to the changed daily life routine. The living room once was for welcoming guests to share festive moments needed to change into a quiet working corner suitable for an online meeting which now became essential.

The daily routine indoor required convenience. However, the house function needed to adapt in order to suit the requirement of multiple residents at the same time. In previous episode, we discussed the overall picture of “Living Pain Point” and looked for what we could change to make our lives indoor more favorable. We explored about the materials, directions of light and wind that suited our purposes. And in this episode, it was time for the ideas of how to actually redecorate our houses.

As reevaluated the space in order to find the “Living Solution”, we believed that you must have obtained some ideas about redecorations already. Or even completed reorganizing your furnitures. Gather what you need and we’re moving forward. Up next was to do some research, find inspirations and put them into a mood board. Follow our guide into these steps of Episode 02 : Get Inspired, where you can grow your creativity for a new exciting decorations.

I. Start with “Where” to find inspirations As pin-pointed which space needed redecorations or which furniture needed to be replaced, was there any reliable reference to help make some changes in your room? There were many sources out there to find brilliant inspirations. If you were a fan of interior design and house decorative items, we recommended finding ideas from what was around you, from places that evoked pleasant atmosphere, from distinctive tastes you came across, magazines you read or series and movies you had watched. Start taking notes and these would all cumulate and shape into your own unique taste and help with your space decorations.

Either you were a beginner or a pro, start off with this quote “The way one looks at things is of the utmost importance. Seeing is feeling with the eyes.” To portray mere senses into a tangible work was a terrific way to begin a project. Notice your own reactions towards styles, collect your preferences and visualize them using mood board. While doing so you could compare images and pieces to find what was right in portraying your own identity which would resonate throughout the environment you lived in.

Of course, many opted to find ideas from various social media platforms e.g. Pinterest, Flipboard, Instagram, Facebook Pages, Twitter, Websites. The key was to categorize these acquired digital files into folders so that you would not get lost trying to go back to them.

Pinterest was a good help in finding the style of your taste. It also allowed you to explore further in similar style. Just pin the image that sparked your joy. Create a board for a precise look of your dream space. The tip was to use the right key word while searching. You could search for even the tiniest detail e.g. “wooden flooring texture”, “green painted bedroom" or “terrace design balcony” for your next gardening project. There were tremendous amount of ideas in every detail possible for you to “Pin” onto your board.

Instagram was also another promising way to scout for ideas. Drop by to the accounts of your favorite brands while maybe check out their product prices in Instagram Shop. You could also bookmark what pleased you into a folder.

Facebook pages were where plenty of house decoration contents were provided. You could also find articles about Concepts and ideas in depth published on Facebook pages of Architects and Interior designers.

Tips: Though browsing through images from various sources might gave you the most splendid ideas ever, but don’t get baffled by the amount of information that it stopped you from constructing your design with unity. Consider in reasonable detail about what was necessary and what was not. Noted whether if the material used in the referencing image actually suited the climate condition within your room. There were functional factors that needed to be considered to see the big picture.
