อีกหนึ่งชิ้นงานเฟอร์นิเจอร์ของเราที่ถูกออกแบบมาโดยเฉพาะกิจ ต้องบอกก่อนว่า Agal ไม่เคยมี เฟอร์นิเจอร์ชิ้นไหนที่ตั้งใจให้เป็นโต๊ะเครื่องแป้ง แต่หลังจากที่เราได้มีโอกาสร่วมทำโครงการ TCC Banyan Tree Samui ซึ่งทางโครงการได้มีความประสงค์ให้เราสร้างสรรค์เฟอร์นิเจอร์ตามฟังก์ชั่นนี้ เอแกลจึงได้รังสรรค์ออกมาเป็น ‘Crossed-leg desk’ หรือ ‘โต๊ะทำงานขาไขว้’
เป็นโต๊ะที่ออกแบบมาเพื่อเป็นโต๊ะเครื่องแป้งน่ารักๆก็ได้ ในขณะเดียวกันก็มีความเรียบหรู สีดำและขอบที่คมกริบ กับดีไซน์การไขว้ขาโต๊ะ ที่ดูเปรี้ยวไปอีกแบบ หรือจะใช้เป็นโต๊ะทำงานก็ได้เก๋ๆ ยิ่งในช่วงเวิร์คฟรอมโฮมแบบนี้ ด้วยดีไซน์ที่กะทัดรัด ขนาดไม่ใหญ่มาก ( ล50 x ย130 x ส85) ทำให้ใช้งานง่าย สามารถเข้าไปอยู่ในพื้นที่ห้องไหนก็ได้ แม้มีพื้นที่จำกัด
โดยฟังก์ชั่นการใช้งานของเจ้าโต๊ะตัวนี้ ตรงกลางสามารถเปิดเป็นบานกระจกขึ้นมาได้ และบานนี้เป็นบานกระจกแบบ soft close เวลาปิดลงมา บานจะค่อยๆพับปิดลงมาช้าๆ ไม่กระแทกดังปั้ง แน่นอน
ด้านในมีถาดแบ่งเป็นช่องๆไว้ให้คุณได้สามารถใส่ของกระจุกกระจิก สำหรับคุณผู้หญิง อาจจะเอาไว้ใส่เครื่องสำอางค์หรือเครื่องประดับ หากใช้เป็นโต๊ะทำงาน ก็สามารถไว้เป็นที่เก็บอุปกรณ์อิเล็กทรอนิกส์สายชาร์จต่างๆ หรือเครื่องเขียนได้เหมือนกัน ตัวถาดสามารถปรับพลิกด้านเป็นด้านเรียบแบบไม่มีช่องเพื่อเขียนหนังสือหรือสร้างสรรค์ผลงานอื่นๆก็ได้ นอกจากนี้แล้ว บนหน้า Top ด้านข้างซ้ายและขวา มีกล่องลิ้นชักที่มีหูจับทองเหลืองเล็กๆขนาบสองข้าง สามารถใส่สิ่งของต่างๆ ได้อีกด้วย
Another piece of our furniture made on demand. There was never a dressing table before in AGAL collection, but after we had a chance to collaborate with TCC Banyan Tree Samui who wished for us to design a piece which performs such function. Therefore, the ‘Crossed-leg desk’ was created.
The desk was designed to be used either as a chic dressing table with a classy black finish, sharp edges complemented with the stylish crossed leg design, or during this recent ‘Work from Home’ situation, a working desk. With a compact design of only 50D x 130W x 85H cm made it easy to use and fit in any room even with limited space.
This table also hides a special trick as its center can open up as a mirror in which installed a ‘soft-close’ motion that would not bother you with a slam shut.
Inside, there was a divided tray designed for small objects where ladies could store cosmetics or accessories. If used as working desk, it was perfect for organizing electronic devices, chargers or even stationeries. The tray itself could also be flipped to a flat, undivided side. The desk’s both side also provided small brace-handle drawers for even more storage space.
