Le Festival des Cabanes หรือ Cabin Festival เทศกาลจัดแสดงกระท่อมริมทะเลสาบ Annecy เมืองทางตะวันออกเฉียงใต้ของประเทศฝรั่งเศส ที่ผสมผสานสถาปัตยกรรมศาสตร์และการออกแบบให้โอบรับกับภูมิทัศน์โดยรอบอย่างกลมกลืน

Philippe Burguet ผู้จัดงานบอกว่า ปรัชญาของเทศกาลนี้คือการเข้าใจและยอมรับอาณาเขต สิ่งแวดล้อม หรือก็คือการนำเอาสถาปัตยกรรมและสิ่งแวดล้อมมาหลอมรวมเข้าด้วยกันอย่างกลมกลืน โดยกระท่อมแต่ละหลังจะมีขนาดไม่เกิน 6 ตารางเมตร สร้างขึ้นโดยความร่วมมือกับโรงเลื่อยในท้องถิ่นและคณะกรรมการป่าไม้แห่งชาติ ซึ่งหลังจากที่ผ่านพ้นเทศกาลไปแล้วกระท่อมทั้งหมดจะถูกถอดประกอบออกมาเพื่อนำไปสร้างเป็นเล้าไก่ หรือห้องเก็บของในสวน

เทศกาล Le Festival des Cabanes ดึงดูดให้มีผู้เข้าชมมากกว่า 30,000 คน มายังทะเลสาบ Annecy ในแต่ละปี เพื่อชื่นชมผลงานกระท่อมไม้ทั้ง 14 หลัง โดยในปี 2022 นี้จัดแสดงผลงานในหัวข้อ “Between Architecture and Landscape”

Design festival that integrated seamlessly into the scenery of Lake Annecy Located on the scenic coast of Lake Annecy of Southeastern France, Le Festival des Cabanes or Cabin Festival showcased a series of cabins whose designs sought to establish harmonious interplay with their surrounding idyllic landscape.

The host, Philippe Burguet revealed the philosophy of the festival as to contemplate and embrace the boundary towards nature, or in other word, to fuse architectural creations seamlessly into the uninterrupted environment. Each cabin took on the size not larger than 6 meters, constructed in collaboration with local sawmill and National Forests Office. Following the festival completion, the exhibiting cabins would be disassemble and reused as hen houses or outdoor storage sheds.

Le Festival des Cabanes attracted over 30,000 visitors to Lake Annecy
each year to witness the creativity behind exhibiting 14 cabins. Outlining which was in this year of 2022, the theme “Between
Architecture and Landscape”.

งานชิ้นนี้เปรียบเสมือนกับสัตว์ป่าที่ไตร่ตรองมองดูภูมิทัศน์ ก่อนที่จะกลับเข้าไปซ่อนตัวอยู่ในป่าลึก เป็นงานออกแบบที่น่ามหัศจรรย์ที่รู้ว่าจะคงไว้ซึ่งบริบทอย่างเหมาะสมได้อย่างไร ส่วนงานไม้และรูปทรงที่เป็นส่วนโค้งรวมไปถึงสัดส่วนก็ทำให้สัตว์ป่าตัวนี้มีเสน่ห์น่าดึงดูด

Depicting a crouching beast observing the terrain before retreated back into the wilderness, featuring ingenious solution of preserving precisely the optimal context. The wood work, curved silhouette and designed proportion only enhanced this beast’s undeniable charm.

กระท่อมหลังนี้จะพาเราหลุดเข้าไปในการเดินทางที่ไม่เหมือนใคร ภายนอกให้ความรู้สึกเคร่งขรึมและมืดทึบ แต่ภายในจะมีเส้นแสงแนวตั้งที่ค่อย ๆ กลายเป็นเส้นเฉียง เราจะพบตัวเองอยู่ท่ามกลางวงกลมของแสงที่ไล่ขึ้นไปตั้งแต่พื้นจนถึงเพดาน

This cabin took us through a journey like no other. Though appearing solemn and dark from the outside, visitors would face vertical beams of light as soon as they enter, which gradually leaned down and eventually surrounded them by the circle of light which magnificently worked its way up towards the ceiling.

Impluvium portrayed how men were so engrossed by architectural techniques that they neglected human sentiment and beauty. This cabin addressed gracefulness into a breathable space, promoting appreciation towards unobstructed surrounding scenery. You were free to observe a herd of local animals even on a rainy day. The work that crafted an unforgettable experience.

งานชิ้นนี้มีลักษณะเป็นกระท่อมที่มีการสลับระหว่างเส้นที่ดูแข็งแรงกับช่องว่าง ความทึบของผนังตัดกับผ้าทำให้เกิดเป็นม่านสีขุ่น ซึ่งคล้ายกับแผงกระดาษดีไซน์ญี่ปุ่น การใช้สีอ่อนทำให้งานชิ้นนี้เหมือนภาพ Abstract เมื่อมองจากภายนอก นอกจากนี้คนที่อยู่ภายในยังสามารถสัมผัสและรับรู้ถึงภายนอกด้วยแรงสั่นสะเทือนของลมผ่านผนัง

The cabin exhibited variegation between strong lines and blank spaces. Ornamental fabrics created diffuse curtain effect against the solid wall resembling Japanese style paper partition. Looking from the outside, the cabin appeared as if it was an abstract-painting due to the use of light color. Visitors inside the building could grasp the surrounding outdoor sensibility by feeling the breeze that quivered through the wall.
