Porsche, the classic identity
Since the classic taste withstands the test of time, it is not too surprising when we see things first created in the distant past still wander our world today exhibiting their beauty.
Speaking of items that reflected the distinct, classic taste of their owner, one of the things that came to mind of many would undoubtedly have been “Classic Cars”. They were something not to just “own” but rather a “collection” that was limited and only grew in price as time went by. A promising asset in which one invested. Depending on the collectors personal preference, they could either opt for the car’s original appearance or adjust it towards a more modern appeal.
One of the classic model that deserves mentioning was the legendary 61 year old “Porsche 911”. Manufactured by German company, 911 was taken as a prototype, as well as an inspiration for Porsche’s development of later models. In 1999, Porsche 911 were voted 5th place in the award, “The Car of the Century” resulting to its renowned popularity among drivers at the time. It was also ranked in Sports Car International as “The Best Sports Car in 1960”. These awards only guaranteed the reasons to why it earned its place in the long lasting spotlight.
Despite its long history, Porsche 911 is still manufactured today. The current models were adjusted towards more contemporary appeal.
